Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Charity Quiz Night in aid of ChemoHero.
We are delighted to announce that we raised £860.
We would like to thank Kingsley School Bideford for allowing us to once again use their library to hold the event, and all the local businesses who kindly donated prizes for the raffle.
Submitted by Seldons on 14th May 2018 a great evening at ChemoHero headquarters packing boxes of kindness ready to go out to the North Devon District Hospital.
These amazing individual boxes are filled to the brim with a range of goodies and discount leaflets, and there are even male and female boxes.
Thank you for having us, and we look forward to another night sometime soon.
If you would like to donate to this charity, we have a fundraising pot in our reception, or contact them directly.

We are pleased to be able to announce that our new chosen Charity of the Year will be Chemohero
Chemohero was founded by Lisa Wallis, an inspirational young woman, and aims to provide boxes/bags of kindness to every North Devon patient undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
Lisa has drawn upon her own experiences and feelings, having survived cancer twice, in creating the boxes which are packed like puzzles full of useful and luxury items with some surprises along the way!
Lisa’s determination to bring something positive to such a daunting and worrying time is commendable. She is making a real difference to patients receiving this treatment in North Devon.
We were really drawn to the local feel this charity has and we are very excited to work with Lisa over the coming months!

On Monday 23rd November 2015, we held a Bake Off Competition.
Eight eager bakers took part. The three judges had the most difficult job, (or not!) of tasting and marking each bake on certain criteria out of ten!! It was tight at the top of the leader board but the winner was Nicola Baddick with her toffee apple cake!
Well Done Nicola, it was delicious!!!
The cakes were then sold to help raise money towards a Water Therapy Unit for Imogen Smale. A grand total of £109.00 was raised.
